Over the past couple of years, many health organizations are trying to ELIMINATE the stigma towards mental health and mental health conditions.
How are mental health issues affecting young people?
How do mental health issues affect you or your peers?
What factors do you think are the main cause for mental health issues?
Explain.
(You should NOT mention names of people who suffer!)
Mental health issues are affecting young people in a very bad way. They put people through a lot of anxiety and depression. Mental health issues affect a person’s thinking, feelings or mood. People who have mental health issues are usually treated differently from others. People who have mental health issues can get distracted easily when you are working with them. There are many causes for mental health issues. For example, childhood abuse, trauma, losing someone who is close to you, long term stress etc.

DeleteThat's intense, but good blog.
DeleteMental health can be a very serious issue. Although I do think that a lot of young people fake having mental health issues for attention, they are still a problem with others. It affects people in a number of different ways. There are a lot of different factors for different kinds of mental health issues. School can be stressful and cause anxiety or depression. There are also other things like abusive parents, or traumatic events that can cause more serious forms of those problems.

DeleteMental health affects everyone. Young people are affected, like being stressed, depressed, etc. When people are stressed it affects them mentaly. When under stress some people make decisions that affect them in a negative way, like making a wrong decision that needed more thought. Everyone is different on how they react to it. Some are stressed because of school, personal matters, etc. Everyone deals with mental health issues.
ReplyDeleteI agree. When people are under stress they can make really bad decisions. Good blog
DeleteA Lot of young people go through mental health issues. People and docteurs say that it’s because of bad experiences and that they can’t cope with the stress of school, but I always think that it’s because reality hite them to hard. Sometimes mental health results in depression, and/or lack of will (so they start to just not care about anything, even themselves). A lot of the time people don't even notice when people are suffering, because it’s not that obvious. Like I said before, I think that maybe when people realise that the world isn’t all kittens and rainbows, it takes then by surprise and they can’t deal with it. But it’s mostly caused by not really anything or something complicated.
ReplyDeleteI agree that people should see that the world isnt just happy and unicorns and stuff
ReplyDeleteI think it’s affecting young people because it’s giving them bad mental issues like being stressed, depressed, etc. Its giving them bad issues when there so young so it's harder for them to get over it.I think it might affect me or my peers because it might complicate the relationship.I feel like it might be from bullying so that's why kids are getting depressed
ReplyDeleteI agree , an other factor could be social media.
DeleteMental health issues majorly affect young people physically and mentally
ReplyDeletemost of the time there are depressed and stressed its's affected people so much that that they made many services for example bell let's talk.
It would most likely affect me and my peers negatively would make me feel uncomfortably it the sense to act around them. I would say mainly it's social media .
I think mental health issues is affective for young kids , like depression and anxiety or like suicide . Like a lot kids shouldnt even have mental health issues like its affecting s lot . It would mostly affect the peers like , cause like your family doesnt get what your going threw and like they think of you differently and they be more pertective cause you have mental health issues . I think the main causes for mental health is mostly because of school , like some teachers or even the students , socila media thats where it mostly gets bad , and also at like home too with how your parents treat you , but theres also a lot more.
ReplyDeletehow its affecting people is its giving people reason to bully other just because there not perfect in the other person eyes, how mental health affect me or peers it dosent cause its completely normal i dont expect anyone to be perfect at everything. being by yourself for a long time and going insane bullying cyper bulling also being born whith something like adhd or odst.
ReplyDeleteMental health is something that more and more people are getting. Some people who have mental illnesses are feeling alone and when they tell people whats going on they do not understand what they are actually going through. Everyone who is going through mental illness is not alone. Mental illness can be caused by bullying, feeling alone, sometimes it even runs in their family.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people struggle with mental illnesses. A lot of it comes from social media, a lot of teenage girls see a picture of a pretty girl with a nice body and wish they could be like that. A lot of girls and boys don't like who they are or what they look like so they become depressed. Mental illness affects a lot of people in a negative way, i have a lot of friends who struggle with mental illness including me. I had a point in my life where I wouldn't eat anything or drink anything so I had to be hospitalised.
