Yes I do think that Canada made the right decision by backing out of the olympics just in case this whole coronavirus thing is still going on in the summer. If I were the president of the olympic committee, I would wait to see how this whole situation plays out, and then when july comes I would make the decision to either postpone, or go through with the olympics.

Deletei think they made a very good decision. i think they really thought about others and less about wining or themselves. they’re respecting the rules by not going out which good get it to spread and make it worse. i would’ve done the same thing they did now. this pandemic is really scary so i’m going to try to respect the rules as much as possible and help prevent it. just like i’m doing now, as tempting as it is to just spend some time with friends at their houses, i avoid that as much as possible.

DeleteI mean in a way I think they did make a right decision because you never know what could happen and its better to be safe , but I also think it wouldve been done the virus.To be honest I dont rally know how i would handle this its a hard decision . I would prospone it not cancel just to see .

DeleteI think they made the right decision because it's better to be safe, all though I do think that the virus would have either been gone or calmed down a lot by the time it was the olympics. I would have postponed the olympics if I was in charge.

DeleteI do think Canada made the right decision on not participating in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. If I was the president of the Olympic Committee, I would postpone them. Places are closing, things are getting canceled, people are under quarantine. I would wait and see if things get better. I wouldn’t want the virus to spread and even more people get sick or die.
ReplyDeleteYes I think Canada made the right decision for sure because they didn’t want there athletes to get the virus and become sick. If I was the president of the Olympic committee I would’ve at least delayed the Olympic so I can see if the situation is still bad.If it is still and then I would cancel the Olympic completely for now just so no one gets sick.
ReplyDeleteyes,I do think honestly Canada made the right choice not participating in this year's Olympics to prevent anymore infections and deaths.If I were on the Olympics committee I would see how this pandemic is progressing and if it continues any further .i would complete cancel it or I would postponed it to prevent any further infections and anymore deaths .
ReplyDeleteI think Canada made the right decision of not participating in the 2020 summer olympics. COVID-19 is everywhere and it is best to keep all of our athletes safe and not risk them catching it. If I was the president of the committee I would postpone the olympics for 1 year just to see how COVID-19 develops in the next year.
