Rumours are swirling about a GRADUAL re-entry back to school.
However, school will be entirely OPTIONAL.
What are your feelings about returning to school?

I thought that it was certain that high school would only be returning in September now. But if returning to school gradually is optional, I still would not go. I do not think that this pandemic is ending any time soon, and I do not think that returning to school would be a great idea. And there is also the fact that I would rather stay at home then go to school on any day. I do not think that social distancing is possible in school. The hallways are always cramped with barely any room to move.

Deleteeven though we aren’t returning until september, i’d still want to go back. i miss the teachers and friends and it’s kinda tuff living this way. it’s a new thing that’s changed our lives and it would be nice to have it back. by maintaining social distancing try avoiding any non essential contact. like if someone wants to talk to u in person, try convincing them to speak through the phone. september return is better than returning now, all because we need to be cautious and try to avoid the spread. i think it’s a good idea.
ReplyDeleteWell we are only returning in september but elementary schools are in may. I think that social distancing would be able to be applied if the class sizes are smaller. I feel like it will be hard to get back into the routine of the normal life because sleep scheduals aew off

DeleteI want to return to school because I get to see my friends but other than that I like not going to school , cause we dont get that much work , presentations, tests but I miss my friends very much . I think social distancing can be maintained at our school if we have a smaller number of kids in a class and the desks are seperated a good amount , also that each person sanitizes everything before they walk in the classroom. Yes I think it's good to return in September because I think it will end this virus by September and anything could happen.
ReplyDeleteI really don’t wanna go back to school. I love working from home, it’s so much more fun and nice. You don’t have teachers everywhere, and you don’t have to listen to people being idiots in the hallway. It’s soooooo nice :) Plus I have no idea how we're supposed to social distance, there is literally no room to distance ourselves from each other. I feel like returning in September would be better, this is more just personal preference, but I have finally gotten enough sleep. Before I couldn’t get enough sleep and couldn’t concentrate, and for school was never the place I wanted to be. I just wanted to learn but not in that environment.

DeleteWe aren’t returning to school until September, but I wonder if we are going to do online school. Social distancing can be maintained if we all avoid contact with others. We all just stay home and leave if it's only necessary. I think a September return would be better so that we can all stay home and try to stop the virus from spreading. I don’t really think the virus will be done by September, but hopefully it will slow down and there will be less people sick.
ReplyDeleteI feel like returning to school could be dangerous because there is little to no room to distance ourselves from each other especially at St. Thomas. I think returning to school in September is so much safer than returning now, but there will still be risks to it. I wonder if it would be online school still in september when we are supposed to return.
