My Passover and my Easter this year were just about the same as any other day during this time. I cannot think of any outstanding stories related to the pandemic because all of these “inspirational stories” are the same. They are always just “Wow, doctors are so great” or “Wow, nurses are so great” or “Wow, this celebrity is donating food/money”. I have heard it all hundreds of times over. I do feel that things are slowly getting better.
good blog and I agree but it's nice to see reoccurring stories like that. Because shows that everybody or a lot of people are trying they're best to help out.
the other day i went to grocery store to pick up a few things and i saw a lady taking everything out gold the food and craft aisles, i had passed hera few times and i wonders why she was doing that and a lot of other people were getting frustrated as well. when i finished finding our things we went to the cash and paid then on our way out of the store i saw the lady who’s as taking all the stuff, separating the intakes she bought into baggies, i was curious and asked her why she did it, and she said it’s for those who need help. it impacted me because it made me realize that even though everyone’s stressing and going crazy we should still help out others during this tuff time and i was impressed that some people still do this and just horde for themselves. i feel that a lot of the cases are calming down and are getting better!
During this quarantine you can't go hang out with friends or go shopping and all those other things, so instead of doing that i do go on a few walks a day. When I go on my walks i see quite a few people and once i was walking on a street and there was this couple coming towards me and then went on the other street to not come in contact with me. It showed me that people really care about this virus going away and are really taking it seriously. I feel that cases are calming down but its hard to know because not everyone is getting tested and not everyone has symptoms so they may have the virus but they don't know or they think they don't have it.
I mean this whole thing with this virus is serious and finally people are taking it seriously now , because before no one was really taking it seriously everyone was still going places and stuff but now it's going good . Like we did for my brother's 18th birthday, usually we have family over and stuff but since this virus , people just drove in their cars and stopped by to say happy birthday . I do not have any stories because to me all of them inspire me . But I do think that it is getting way better than before , we're actually in control of it now so I hope it's going to be over soon.
My Easter was fine. It just really sucks that I can't leave my house and see others. I don’t know any stories that have impressed me but one that really shocked me. My dad told me a story that happened at an old folks home. There were 170 people in the old folks home and only 2 workers. 31 people ended up dying. Some died from the virus and some died because they were not taken care of properly. This story really shocked me because they can't take care of themselves and they pay so much money to get taken care of and only 2 workers showed up. This shows that we need to be there for each other. I think things are getting a bit better, but very slowly.
My easter was pretty good. Nothing special though. I do not really know of any stories that impressed me but there is a story that shocked me! It happened yesterday I think and it was that a small plane landed on the highway next to fairview, there was video footage and thats the only reason why I know of it! It looked like it was a super small plane though, I might have been a jet.
My Easter/Passover wasn't very eventful or exciting but it was okay. A story that I was impressed by was Rodger Federer a professional tennis player donated 1.5 million dollars (converted to cad from euro) to vulnerable families who are seeing horrible affects to they're businesses and families. It impressed me because I didn't see many celebrities donate for that cause instead I saw for food or medical equipment which is still very good, but I just saw this and I saw how he thought to donate to families who are in danger due to the virus. I wasn't really impacted by the story because it was just a nice thing to do and it's just a good deed. I feel like they are but in reality it's not and it's just the beginning, worst has yet to come (I'm not scared or paranoid about it, just writing to explain my tone).
