Usually I celebrate Easter and Passover by going to each of my grandparents’ houses and celebrating there. However, I doubt that I will be celebrating those two holidays this year due to the coronavirus. This current pandemic has changed this holiday for me because I can’t go anywhere. I will probably just stay at home and not celebrate anything this year.
MY typical Easter is my family hosting or we go to another family members house but we can’t do that now, but I can still do Good Friday this Friday because all it takes is me not eating meat for that day. Covid-19 has changed my family’s tradition of celebrating Easter with my family and extended family and friends as well.
For easter we do what we have done for the past forever, we will go on an egg hunt. The easter bunny hides chocolate all around the house and me and my siblings go and find them with our baskets. Then we each have a letter from the easter bunny, that leads us to our big easter chocolate. Mine are always messed up words ex: “ahpyp”, i would have to find out what it is, “happy”. That would lead me to my next clue. Then we all eat a bunch of chocolate!!! We always celebrate easter. The corona wont change the way we celebrate easter.
I usually celebrate Easter by going to my grandparents house. My grandmother usually prepares supper for us. Whenever it’s a holiday she prepares a huge meal. This year my parents will make a meal and it will just be the six of us. The COVID-19 has changed the way I celebrate Easter because I can no longer see my grandparents or my cousin.
Me and my family usually celebrate Easter with like a dinner and sometimes invite people over but this year cant invite people because of corona. We will be celebrating this year but it's not going to be as exciting because of this pandemic. It doesn't really change the way we celebrate because we don't usually go anywhere or celebrate with people usually
Good Friday we usualy stay away from meat.Easter morning we have an easter egg hunt. Then we go have brunch at grande-mamans house. Our traditional brunch consist of ham with crapes and bechamel sauce and for desert we have crapes with sirop.Because of covid-19 i cannot celebrate with my grande-maman so it will only be my family. And then we have super with my grandma
I usually celebrate with my moms side of the family the day before easter because thats my brothers birthday , and then on easter we spend it with my dads side of the family witch is more fancier . For easter this year were just doing my moms side to come on my brothers birthday , and we are going to facetime my dads side on easter since we cant go to a restaurant . Yes the COVID-19 has changed how we spend our easter and my brothers birthday and my moms and dads right after .
I usually celebrate easter with both sides of my family. We do get chocolate on easter but not this year due to the virus that is going on. We also play different games and just hang out with family and friends. This year we still celebrated easter but it wasn't the same as all the other years that we celebrated easter.
