On Tuesday, St. Thomas Home and School parents will be preparing a luncheon for the TEACHERS at this school.  It is a part of TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!

There are some AMAZING teachers.

    i’ve had a lot of teachers like mr katz, and mrs sterle. but when i was younger i had a lot of difficulty working and paying attention, my grade 2 teacher always let me reduce my tests till i got them right and would let me bring home any assignments so i could reread them and practice them for future tests. she impacted me because she boosted my confidence by giving me the chances i’ll probably never get again, and that made me try harder which led me to get better grades.

    I am happy that I have a good teacher this year, Mr. Katz. He makes the class not boring and it is fun to be in his class. Most of the work we do in class is also not that boring. He keeps you interested in the class. I feel like i'm doing better in this class because I listen more.

    My favourite teacher is Mr Katz because he always makes class fun . This teacher is so great because i have never felt a sleep because it was boring, he always made classes fun and he was a really nice teachers. The impact he gave on me is that in life your going to have bad teacher and good teacher . Thank you for being a good teacher

    The best teacher that I have would probably be the teacher for this english class, Mr. Katz. He is a good teacher because he does not give a lot of work, the only homework we ever have to do in this class are these blogs, (which are not a pain in the neck like homework for some other classes), and sometimes he gets us timbits. The impact Mr. Katz had on me is that I do not have to dread english class.

      okay, but the greatness of a teacher should not depend on what he gives and does not give but it should depend on how the teacher teaches.

      Yes Mr Katz is a great teacher and all those points kick in and I am really happy and fortunate to have him as an English teacher but Mr Aki was just so funny and it was just so pleasant to be in his class and it’s much more different from then to today (phys ed classes).

    In my old school I had the pleasure of working with mr.gianni He was my french and my math teacher from grade four to grade six.What made him so great is that is he teach very good but he never gave up on me in french no matter what he always help me . Even before I had him as a teacher he helped me.It's because of him I have been getting better grades in french comprehension.

    A amazing teacher I’ve worked with this year and last is our english teacher Mr. Katz. This teacher makes the class more interesting and fun, he also turns class work fun. The impact it has is that I achieved better marks because it’s easier to pay attention in his classes because there not boring like some other classes we have.

    I think personally Mr.Katz is an amazing teacher he just makes the class so much fun and always gives us candy . He makes english class fun and better other then from last year was kinda creepy , and I just like going to english class cause its a lot of fun

    My favourite ever teacher would be Mr Aki my old phys Ed teacher he was always in a good mood and he would always make jokes and they would always be very funny. He organized he best games for the day and games we loved playing. He retired when I was in 3rd grade. He didn’t really have an impact on me but he did teach me to be optimistic and to always be happy in life.

    An amazing teacher is Mr. Katz. He always finds some way to make class fun and interesting. His class is not like other classes. The impact is my grades. My grades are really good in english this year because of him. Mr. Katz explains things really well when I do not understand them. Not like other teachers when they tell me to just read the question again and to understand it on your own.

    An amazing teacher is Mr. Katz, he always makes a fun way to teach and he always is introducing a new online app/website to make class fun. The impact he had on me was actually enjoying being in a classroom, he also actually explains things instead of saying to read it again or to just guess.
