An important part of my English class is to make you aware of what you post on-line and what it means to be a good digital citizen. Being a good digital citizen includes:
- being aware of your digital footprints;
- demonstrating safe and respectful online etiquette;
- not cyber-bullying, sexting, or posting inappropriate photos and/or videos,
- making important decisions about what to post to social media sites; and,
- not downloading or uploading inappropriate content
For this blog, I would like you to CREATE an important Digital Citizenship message using MEMES!
A meme in a generic message about a behaviour that is passed around on-line.
Using makeameme.org you will have to create a MEME about being a GOOD Digital Citizen. You could share or e-mail me (gkatz@lbpearson.ca) the meme and then post your explanation about the meme on the blog site.

I made a meme about the concept of digital citizenship. I tried to make the meme as modern as I could, so I made it an angry doge meme with bruh at the beginning. The meme was about posting naked pictures of yourself on the internet, which is a stupid thing to do. I tried to make it as funny as possible, but I could not because we had to do it on digital citizenship instead of having the freedom to do whatever we want.

Someone who protects their private information like passwords,name,etc. Someone who doesn't bully other people online. Who stands up to bullies online. Someone who respects the rules of everything online. Never posts inappropriate photos. Someone who is always careful online.

ReplyDeleteMy meme is making important decisions about what to post to social media and thinking what of what will happen if you do after it’s posted on the internet .What you would really need to think before posting it is if it's appropriate to be on the internet if not you could be arrested given a detention if your not cautious of what you post. That’s one of the most important things of being a good citizen in my opinion of course.

Deletemy meme is about making important decisions about what to post on social media and online and to make sure you use permission first. i think before posting a picture you should think about these three things:1) if it’s appropriate, 2) if it can offend others, and 3) if i can hurt anyone’s feelings. if you made sure that your meme or picture or whatever you’re posting online is not inappropriate, doesn’t offend anyone and doesn’t hurt anyone’s feelings then you’re good to go and you can post it!
ReplyDeletemy meeme is about who you give your passwords to. You should never give someone your passwords to anything, because, you do not know what they will do with it. Many people at school tell their friends their locker combo, nobody knows mine exept for me.
ReplyDeleteMy meme is about making important decisions before you post online. Before you post anything you should make sure of a couple of things. You should make sure that it is appropriate and that you have the consent of the people in the photo or video before you post it. A lot of people might be upset if you post a photo or video without their consent because it can be embarrassing and really hurt their feelings.

DeleteMy meme is about thinking about what you are posting before you do. So if you wouldn't want your family/certain friends/teachers seeing it then you shouldn't post it. You should only post something if you are ok with everyone seeing it. You should also make sure that if you post something it won't hurt anyone's feelings or embarrass them.
